We dig deep with you and to help you get them the information that they need with as little disruption to your business as possible, while making sure that your leadership’s vision stays at the forefront of the document.
My approach is to help the management team to tell a really compelling story that will appeal to investors, without taking on unnecessary liability. The IPO process can be a time to really refine a statement of your strategy and plans for the future - your story is as much about what is coming in the near future as it is about what you’ve done to date. We work together with the CEO, the CFO, the marketing team and the legal team to blend together themes around the customer experience - why is your solution compelling to your customers or users and themes around financial results - how are you going to outperform the public markets through higher growth, more certain revenue, etc.
Because it is such a collaborative effort, a big part of the value I bring is an ability to pull together all the various approaches and to work with all parties smoothly to get the job done.
