Software & Innovation

This category is a bit of a catch all - from the dozens of enterprise software companies I’ve represented, to autonomous vehicle companies (an intriguing blend of software and hardware innovation), to agtech, I’ve worked with all manner of innovative companies at the idea stage and before revenue.

Earlier stage innovation companies frequently need help with intellectual property, employee trade secret protections, NDAs with partners, etc. While I’m not a patent lawyer, I’ve worked with many and will help you first decide whether you need a patent, and if so, who might be best able to help.

At a later stage, my familiarity with software and services revenue recognition issues helps spot issues that could cause problems with audited financial statements, and to work with companies to avoid those issues. I also have access to other attorneys who provide very efficient and cost-effective contract review for companies with a large number of revenue generating contracts.
